Light is also movement. For this reason we offer a wide range of custom solutions for DMX motorized and pole-operated systems. Our movement systems can move any theatrical and television lighting appliances, SPOTLIGHT ® branded or made by other brands on market as well as smoke machines, laser-beam effects and video projectors, and more.

COMANDO A PALO (PO SYSTEM)

I comandi a palo sono snodi a rotazione di tipo cardanico o a molla, vengono montati sul corpo del proiettore e permettono di movimentarne l’orientamento orizzontale, verticale e lo zoom o fuoco, in maniera manuale diretta con l’ausilio di un comune palo telescopico simile a quelli usati per aprire le tende delle verande. 

Trova impiego nelle situazioni in cui gli spazi e gli ingombri di scena rendono complicato il puntamento dei proiettori, e quando questi sono a quote raggiungibili con un bastone. 

Il puntamento dei proiettori a palo è infatti molto diffuso negli studi televisivi, dove vi è la necessità frequente di modificare la posizione dei proiettori con velocità e precisione senza dover ricorrere a scale ingombrando scenografie già allestite. Il comando a palo può essere realizzato o aggiunto su quasi tutti i proiettori, anche successivamente all’acquisto. 

La principale modifica effettuata sul proiettore consiste nel cambio della forcella standard con quella Pole Operated, che permette il movimento degli assi X e Y. Se si desidera controllare anche l’asse Z vi è la necessità di effettuare modifiche all’aggancio del carrello per inserire i relativi controlli. 

La movimentazione avviene tramite coppe ribaltate verso il basso e collegate al proiettore e alla forcella specifica, che tramite colori differenti evidenziano i tre assi di movimento: bianco per la rotazione (Pan, X), blu per l’elevazione (Tilt, Y) e giallo per il carrello (Zoom, Z).

MOTORIZED YOKES (ARC SYSTEM)

The system, available with 2 or 3 parameters, allows high precision focusing of pan and tilt, as well as of the focus or of the iris through a 16 bit DMX signal.

The system consists of a power supply and of a DMX reader, that controls 2 or 3 DC motors as well as supplying power and DMX signal for other possible accessories such as color changers, gobo rotators, etc.

The focusing is particularly accurate thanks to the use in the pan and tilt of a double control both with encoder, for better speed control, and with potentiometer, for the constant storage of the position. Thereby, we reach absolutely soft movements even at low speeds as well as in acceleration/deceleration. In addition, the appliance keeps its position either in case of power failure (no reset) or forced displacement from its position (to change the lamp). The motors are oversized and totally silent, with a mechanical safety clutch to prevent any possible crash against obstacles and automatic power off until the DMX command signal is reversed.

The horizontal rotation is more than 360° to avoid dark corners in the scene and 270° for the vertical one. The setting of pan, tilt and focus limits, allows to avoid the collisions with the scenography, the positioning beyond the limit prescribed by the lamps or the zoom stroke according to the length of the Iuminaires.

Additionally to the theatrical and television use, the yokes are also used for positioning video projectors, smoke machines, Ioudspeakers, etc. with a maximum load limit of 30 kg.

The yokes can work either hanging from structures with fast-fit hooks already supplied, or removing the hooks, positioning them on the stage with a suitable stabilizing base.

If desired, the motorization can be switched off and the Iuminaires keep their position (to avoid unwanted starts for false maneuvers). Thanks to their clutch, they can be manually focused without the console operator. The Spotlight ARC is the best solution to convert a fixed Iuminaire into a fast and easy remotely positioning and focusing system.
